Who Am I ?

I'm a graduate student at the Univesity of Iowa currently enrolled in the Master of Computer Science program. I'm always looking for opportunities to explore new ideas, as well as get involved with organizations that help me follow my passion towards puzzles and research. My current passion is Machine Learning, with a focus on Deep Learning, but I have experience with an array of different topics from parallel algorithms to NLP to front-end web development. I love learning about new ideas or novel applications of old ones, so I always have at least a few browser windows open with publications from my reading list.

What I Do ?

I'm currently a graduate teaching assisstant at the University of Iowa, but in the past I've been a research assisstant, software developer, test automation engineer, and a number of different roles. In my free time I take the concepts I've learned and see how I can apply them, so I always have a number of different projects on the back-burner. Right now I'm working on comparing different generative neural nets for music on one hand and a parallel implementation of several probabalistic clustering algorithms for image analysis.
